Rocket League announced that Season 2 is more than ready to race into the game on December 9. There’s a lot of new content coming, including a new music theme and limited-time modes. Today, we take a quick look into what the new season has to offer.
To make the most of the new season, players need to get the all-new Rocket Pass. It offers more than 70 Tiers of new items. Those who get the Rocket Pass Premium will unlock the R3MX. Meanwhile, the R3MX GXT in its final mix is available for everyone to grab at Tier 70.
Other goodies that players can enjoy include Filiformer and EQ-RL Decals, Woofer and MTRX Wheels, and the Riser and Light Show Goal Explosions. Even better, some of the items in the Rocket Pass will pulse and flash to the beat of the menu. The same applies to the Arena music.
If you’re new to the game, the Rocket Pass Premium offers both XP boost and extra Weekly and Season Challenges. This should help players go up the Tiers faster. On reaching Tier 70, there’s the chance to access the Pro Tiers. Here, players get to unlock Painted, Certified, and the Special Edition versions of select Rocket Pass items.
