Season 4 of Warcraft Rumble is almost here and there's a lot of reasons for players to be happy about. By "a lot" we mean that they can look forward to getting more rewards. Daily Rewards for example now have a chance to give players not only large amounts of Coins and Mega Tomes but even a a Mythic Tome. Meanwhile, XP Gem bonuses have been increased for the start and middle of the Player Level journey.
But wait, there's more! The Arc Energy rewards that players can earn from PvP has been increased to 1000 from 200. Seasonal Emote has been increased as well to 16,000 Player Honor from 12,000. Finally, Heroic Campaign victories now award three points of progress towards Daily Rewards instead of 1.
Daily Offers
For Season 4, the Daily Offers section is getting some initial improvements. The goal is to allow for more attractive items with players getting them more frequently. Key changes include:
- Legendary Cores and Mythic Tomes can now appear in the store (though very rarely).
- Arclight Energy (and some other rare items) have a small discount built into the purchase.
- Added Mini and XP combinations to the list of potential items.
- Reduced the amount of Rare Cores that can appear.
Bring Out the Voodoo
In Season 4, a new troop arrives to the game and it's none other than the Witch Doctor. Warcraft Rumble's newest troop can curse enemies while at the same time shield allies. Starting March 6, players can earn the Witch Doctor as a reward from the Guild Warchest and PvP. However, this one won't be available in the G.R.I.D. until Season 5.
Here are some other details of the Witch Doctor:
- Family: Horde
- Deploy Cost: 2 Gold
- Traits: Ranged, AOE, Elemental, Cycle
- Ability
- Cursed Beam: Curses enemies dealing damage over time and causing enemies to explode upon death, dealing AOE damage to other nearby enemies.
- Talents
- Amplify Curse: Enemies damaged by the Curse explosion also explode on death.
- Spirit Ward: On kill, grant a shield to nearby allies, absorbing the next hit against them.
- Alchemist: Periodically drop a potion, granting Bloodlust to the first ally that touches it.
