Sega just finished its Sonic Central 2024 presentation that included new information on a variety of games, updates, and more.
One of the first things that fans got from the presentation was that Sonic the Hedgehog franchise's battle royale, Sonic Rumble, is coming to PC and mobile. These new versions of the game will launch this winter.
Sonic Central 2024
The game was originally announced in May but did not have a release window. Sonic Rumble features Fall Guys-style gameplay that up to 32 players can join. They will take control of different Sonic Universe characters to battle their way to the top.
Similar to Fall Guys and other games in the genre, Sonic Rumble has several game modes. These will task players with overcoming various difficult challenges that always have the risk of knocking them out, according to IGN.
Another game that got an update was Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. The latest Sega presentation revealed that this title is getting more downloadable content. Players can not roll around inside giant balls themed after the titular Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog.
You will also be able to cosplay as the black hedgehog with the new update. The new ball skins are accessible for free on the Nintendo eShop. On the other hand, the Shadow Costume is available as part of paid DLC and is also in the Sega Pass.

Sonic X Shadow Generations also got a fresh update with a brand-new story trailer. This particular footage showed a new look at the game's standalone Shadow campaign.
In Sonic Dream Team, Sega is adding a new playable character later this year, MyNintendoNews said.

A Variety of Updates
For Sonic Dash, Sonic Dash+, and Sonic Forces, Sega revealed that there are new characters coming soon. Valhalla Surge is a new challenger who can throw several axes and shock opponents.
The presentation shared new details for Sonic Racing's upcoming updates that add a variety of content and features. These include a Time Trial mode that can unlock the brand-new Rockstar Rouge and DJ Vector character styles.
The business simulation video game Two Point Museum was also included in Sega's Sonic Central 2024 presentation. The title will be getting a Sonic and Shadow-themed pre-order bonus that is available for a limited time, before Mar. 4, 2025, according to BleedingCool.
