There’s not much to go off of in this Thief inspired game reveal trailer ( via IGN ), but what these former Witcher 3 developers have done lso far ooks good. Check out the first trailer for upcoming title Seven:

The trailer shows lush isometric environments through which floating robots sometimes waft, an image of nature reclaiming man -- or man reclaiming nature. Most interestingly, the perspective appears to be from an entity which “possesses” the main character, who is described as “needed.” There’s not much plot information, but it appears to take place during a time after mankind has survived a near-extinction event when it has begun to really build itself back up.

The game announcement for Seven states:

Seven is a Thief-inspired, 3D isometric RPG, in which you take on the role of a lone traveller.

You’re going to explore a nonlinear, sandbox world - the Empire of Vetrall.

“Classic isometric gameplay is going to be redefined. We have created a parkour climbing system that gives you the ability of free-traversing obstacles, of any height, horizontally and vertically.

The quests take place in a ‘beyond post-apocalyptic’ environment created by the minds behind The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. You can expect difficult moral choices with unforeseen consequences. More to come soon.”

The game’s release date is not confirmed, though it is expected in the latter half of this year. You can sign up for further news as it happens on Seven’s official website here .
