‘The Sims 4’ Restaurant Game Pack May Allow Sims To ‘Buy A Restaurant’ [RUMOR]

SimGuruNinjua may have accidentally hinted at a brand new feature that will be available in the restaurant game pack: buy your own. It’s unclear to what extent Sims will be able to run the restaurant, but if the tip is true this feature will add a new dimension to TS4’ s available gameplay.

The Sims Community was able to grab a screenshot of the promptly deleted tweet. Notice the menu on the left lists ‘Buy a Restaurant’ as an option. The mistake was followed a question about how a Sim can call in sick to work.

Even with The Sims 4’ s Get Together and Get To Work expansion packs, Sims can only go on dates to bars, clubs, and cafes which don’t have many interactive dining options. The addition of restaurants would give Sims the ability to go to dinner, order from a menu and pay for their bill. Past restaurant expansions’ social interactions included options like marriage proposals, skipping out on the check, and cuddling in a corner booth. Alongside the gameplay introduced with Get To Work, this is the perfect opportunity to allow Sims to run the fine dining scene.

Months of speculation came to an end when SimGuruLindsay confirmed the next Sims 4 DLC will be a restaurant game pack set to release this spring. The 15-second announcement teaser features a waiter tending to a dining room full of Sims, but didn’t showcase any gameplay.

The restaurant-themed game pack rumor picked up steam in February when SimGuruNinja suggestively posted the words “serve up,” “fresh,” and “hungry” in a cryptic tweet. Sims Latin America also teased a restaurant DLC earlier in April.

A restaurant-themed GP would be The Sims 4’ s third game pack. There have been 6 Stuff Packs released so far, the latest Romantic Garden , released Feb. 9. A kids-themed stuff pack is also expected this summer.
