Patch 16 for SnowRunner is now available, and it features new trucks, maps, and other content for Season 6. Those getting the Year 2 Pass will have a hold of these new things and if you want to learn more, read on.
New Content
The Lowland and Yellowrock National Forest are the new maps in the Maine region. These areas are filled with snow and mud, and conditions may not be conducive for most vehicles. Fortunately, new trucks, such as the Aramatsu Forester and Tayga 6455B, will help you traverse these maps.
Vehicles that were released previously have acquired some upgrades. For instance, the CAT770G got some upgradeable winches, and you can fit the Derry Longhorn 4520 with a new engine.
New Features
The game’s Photo Mode has got some upgrades of its own. This mode allows you to take photos of your vehicles and is present on all supported platforms. One of its improvements is the free-cam mode that gives you the ability to choose any angle you want, so you can take that perfect shot.
Bear in mind that those on the PlayStation and Xbox will have to use the Share Button of respective controllers to take a screenshot.
Crossplay has also been enabled, which means you can join online lobbies of people who are playing on different platforms. This feature is not accessible on the Nintendo Switch at the moment. However, it’s being worked on by the developers and it may be available sometime in the near future.
