Nearly a year ago, we got a teaser of Sons of the Forest, the sequel to an open-world survival game. The first game is pretty interesting to play as it supports up to eight players. There are tons of stuff to do, like building defenses, collecting resources, and exploring caves. We’ve spent over 30 hours just messing around and having fun playing the game.
The Forest had multiple endings. Each ending relates to what decision you've made towards the end. So, we don’t know which end the developers have chosen to make a sequel out of. The mixture of survival and horror made it fun to play, but it could get really scary when you approach new enemies.
We got to see the new trailer for the Sons of the Forest, which looks different compared to its predecessor. The game appears to have more mechanics, better graphics, and more to the storyline.
The latest trailer showed new additions. Some of these are the new radar system, realistic woodcutting, weapons, a digging system, and more spooky characters. But the new trailer does look a bit confusing, as it seems like some of the enemies are on your side.
The mask teased in the trailer may play an important role in communication. Though, we will only learn more about it once the game is available. If you’ve watched the first trailer, you would have noticed the dancing lady. She appears as well in the second trailer but sitting still. Also, at the end of the trailer, you could see a monster tossing another monster. It would mean they have some sort of ranking system. They might be more human than we thought.
