This Thursday marks the official opening of Japan’s largest video game expo, the Tokyo Game Show 2019. With tons of Japanese developers and publishers expected to put on a show, expect a host of new announcements, trailers, updates and surprises for existing and upcoming games. Tokyo Game Show 2019 will be held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Tokyo, running from September 12 to September 15. With Sony opting out of E3 this year, it’s only natural that the gaming giant makes up for it big time with this year’s iteration of the Tokyo Game Show, especially with quite a few highly-anticipated releases under their belt. With Death Stranding releasing two months from now, a large portion of Sony’s presence at TGS 2019 is devoted to Kojima’s next title. Also in attendance is Project Resistance, Capcom’s brand-new title from the Resident Evil series, as well as Sega’s new Yakuza: Like a Dragon title.
