Splitgate Season 0 is now available on all supported platforms, developer 1047 Games announced recently.
The game has been around for two years now and even though Ian Proulx, CEO of 1047 Games, said that the game will be in beta status indefinitely, it doesn’t mean that the devs are not hard at work to provide amazing content for fans.
Season 0 introduces a lot of things - a new map, an improved battle pass, new game modes, and even quality-of-life improvements.
New Map
Karman Station is the latest map that you can try out. It is just a reimagining of one of the original maps, the Outpost, with better textures and improvements.
Battle Pass
The Season 0 Battle Pass has 100 levels and there are tons of amazing things that you can unlock. Items range from new armors and banners, and portal and weapon skins to name tags. Those who will get the Battle Pass can partake in Season Challenges as well.
New Game Modes
There is a new game mode called Contamination, which is composed of two teams: Humans and the Contaminated.
Those who are placed in the Contaminated team will start only with bats as their weapon. The main objective here is to kill as many shotgun-wielding humans as you can. Every human killed will respawn as part of the Contaminated. The game ends in two ways: either all humans are contaminated or if the game timer runs out.
Aside from that, the Casual Team Rumble is a playlist that contains some crazy game modes. This is perfect for those who want to have a timeout from all serious activities and just want to have fun with their buddies. The playlist includes Splitball, Big Head Snipers, and Contamination.
Quality-of-Life Changes
Fans have been clamoring for a Kill Cam for quite some time. Fortunately, the developers have added this feature to the game. Now, you can find out who killed you so that you can exact your sweet revenge.
Aside from that, those who play the console versions will be happy to know that there is a new Aim Assist Slider in the settings. You can tone down the aim assist for controllers so that you can have full control or leave it at 100%.

Splitgate is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
