A new battle royale TPS is coming soon to PC. Squad Battle is a game where a three-player squad fights with 19 other squads in intense close-quarters combat. If you're excited to try this, developer Netmarble is now recruiting for its Pre-Alpha Test. This is limited to US-based players for now.
Squad Battle offers players a huge cast of characters with unique backgrounds and motivations. There's also a wide range of melee and ranged options that players can use for multiple weapon combinations. Also available are various items and upgrades that can be used to boost performance.
For the Pre-Alpha Test, here are some of the details:
- Registration Period
- January 26 at 9:00 p.m. EST Until the Pre-Alpha Test Period's end.
- How to Register
- Search for "Squad Battle" on the Steam Store
- Click the "Request Access" Button
- Applicants are granted as a tester starting on February 14 at 9:00 p.m. EST.
- Applicants granted as a tester can download Squad Battle’s Pre-Alpha test build in advance via Steam Library.
- Players can still apply and receive access while the Pre-Alpha Test is in progress.
- Players should receive an email once access is granted to the Pre-Alpha Test.

PC Platform
Squad Battle is the second game being developed by Netmarble, and it will be available on PC. Back in January 2022, Netmarble had announced that it was coming out with a new MOBA for PC called Overprime. It was only last weekend when the game had its closed beta.
