We don’t have to pretend a viral video is in some way “real” in order to get a kick out of it. No, Josh Gad isn’t actually trying to rip Star Wars: The Last Jedi spoilers from Daisy Ridley. But his videos from the set of Kenneth Branagh’s Murder on the Orient Express remake (which both Ridley and Gad are in) continue to up the ante in a satisfyingly narrative way. It almost doesn’t matter that we don’t actually get any Episode 8 spoilers out of it. Almost.
When last we checked in with Gad and Ridley, he was pushing her on exactly what happened Finn after Kylo Ren sliced up his spine in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But in this latest video he ups the pressure with the help of Judi Dench:

We haven’t seen Dench in such close proximity to sci-fi since she played Aereon, an Air Elemental, in The Chronicles of Riddick — a movie that will forever top Star Wars in the on-the-nose names department (the flaming prison planet Crematoria is an all-timer).
Dench asks Ridley whether or not Rey has been tested for midichlorians, whether she’s the last Jedi and my favorite, “what’s the deal with Reylo.” Yes, this fictional Dench persona is just as interested in shipping Kylo Ren and Rey as the rest of you beautiful perverts.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out in theaters Dec. 15. In the meantime, never forget: Your Snoke Theory Sucks.
