Star Wars: The Old Republic finally revealed the events happening this January. There's a total of four but two of them are a continuation. By that, we mean they started back in December.
The first new event for the month begins tomorrow, January 11, and is called The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally. This should be good news for swoop fans across the galaxy who are at least level 20. Be ready to race on dangerous challenge courses, show off those skills, and don't forget to flaunt those truly souped-up bikes. The event ends January 18 and feature the following rewards:
- Swoop Rally Mounts (regular and gold versions)
- Swoop Gang Outfits
- Promotion Droid Mini-pets
- Various Stronghold Decorations
The second new event is the Rakghoul Resurgence on Tatooine, which starts on January 25 and runs until February 1. To join this event, players need to be at least level 25.
In this one, The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization or T.H.O.R.N. has issued an official Level 2 emergency alert regarding an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Tatooine. While quarantines are in place to restrict traffic and prevent the plague from going off-world, there are certain exceptions for those with priority clearance.
That said, T.H.O.R.N. is looking for qualified volunteer emergency responders who are willing to travel to affected areas and fight the spread of the Rakghoul plague. Featured rewards include:

- THORN Epicenter and Dark Vector Armor Sets
- Outbreak Response Weapons
- Alliance Contact - Doctor Lokin

Continuing Events
As mentioned, there are four events for January 2022 with two of them carry-overs from December. These are:
- Life Day
- Duration: December 14 to January 11
- Requirement: Levels 10+
- Description:
- Special Missions like “A Special Snowflake”, “Parcel Droid”, and “Could Use a Good Hug” are available during this limited time.
- Featured rewards are:
- Sleigh I and J0-1Y Mounts
- Wampa Rug, Snow Blower, and Freezer Unit Stronghold Decorations
- Red, Blue, Pink, Green-Gold, and more Holo-Trees
- Several Character titles
- Ten-Year Anniversary
- Duration: December 14th to January 2023
- Requirement: Levels 10+
- Description:
- This year's long anniversary celebration has a special “Anniversary Personnel” vendor found on the fleet with new Class Ship Stronghold Decorations.
- Featured rewards are:
- Faction-based fireworks
- Commemorative Statues of HK-51, Valkorian, and Malgus
- Senya Holo-statue
- Fireworks Celebratory Backpack
- Several Stronghold Decoration posters
- Class Ship Stronghold Decorations
