If you’re as in love with Overwatch’s hacker and stealth specialist Sombra as the rest of the Internet, you’ll be pleased to know that one enterprising Street Fighter V modder has made it possible for you to play as Sombra in Street Fighter V.
Overwatch ’s latest hero Sombra, released after a lengthy and tedious ARG, has the same edgy hairdo as jiu-jitsu specialist Laura. That made it easy for modder THEJAMK. Check out the video of Sombra in Street Fighter V below:
“Well, I think it was obvious this Mod. I'm not exactly proud of the animation in the clothes, but I think it's not that bad. The colors are not exactly the same as the original because I wanted the alternative colors to work. And it is somewhat difficult since the character has degraded colors.Anyway I hope you like it,” wrote THEJAMK.
The mod can be downloaded here. The mod is a reskin, so there’s no new moveset, but it’s still a substantial achievement. The modder’s other work includes R.Mika as Mei, Cammy as Tracer and Zangief as Reinhardt.
In other Street Fighter V news, Capcom plans to support the game into 2020. "It's not just a 1-2 year thing. We're looking pretty far ahead... We've planned out as far as 2020 or so,” said Executive Producer Yoshinoro Ono in an interview with Famitsu . Next on the list for Street Fighter V is fan-favorite Akuma, who’ll be available to play at PlayStation Experience Dec. 3-4.
