Today’s Wonder Woman movie news intensifies the hype for the Gal Gadot action flick with the launch of the film’s official Twitter and a logo appropriate for the Amazonian warrior princess.
The revamped logo is a bit more ostentatious than the plain yellow and black Wonder Woman initials. The Wonder Woman movie logo is now an antique gold to match Gadot’s revamped costume. The film’s release is still a year away, but fans should expect to see more sneak peeks from the film. So far, the only official set photo from the film features Gadot wearing a hooded cape in what might be her homeland Themyscira.
Actor Chris Pine, who plays Steve Trevor in the film, added to the Wonder Woman movie hype in a recent interview with the Toronto Sun. Pine praised the production’s for their work on World War I era sets.
"It’s a period we don’t see often; it’s usually World War II," Pine told Toronto Sun. "Our costume design is incredible. We have scenes with, like, 500 extras all in period dress. I’d never been on a film with extras casting as beautifully done as it is here. It highlights a really important point. When background casting is done well, it can make or break a scene. I’ve got people in deep background that have entire lives. It’s awesome, it’s actual make-believe land.”
