No Man’s Sky has just confirmed a release date! This is not a drill! Be prepared to get lost in an endless galaxy starting on June 21.
Along with a confirmed release date, developer Hello Games has also verified there will be a physical copy of No Man’s Sky available for purchase from retailers if you so choose. If you want to really splurge, there are also two different special editions you can get.
The first one, No Man’s Sky Limited Edition, will come with a copy of the game, a SteelBook case, the 48-page art book, an exclusive comic (featuring work from Watchman’s David Gibbons, among others), some in-game bonuses and a PS4 theme. The Limited Edition will only be available for PS4 gamers.
The second special edition, called No Man’s Sky Explorer Edition, is only available through the iam8bit shop, and is PC-only. The Explorer’s Edition comes with a copy of the game, a cast metal ship complete with decals, a fancy pin, a backdrop for the ship and a mystery item that will be announced at a later date. The Explorer’s Edition comes in at a hefty $149.99, but looks amazing.
All versions of No Man’s Sky, including regular versions, are now available for pre-order.
