We still don’t know a No Man’s Sky release date, but we now (probably) know the price. As spotted on the PlayStation Store, it seems No Man’s Sky will end up costing $59.99.
This news comes from a NeoGAF thread created by user trikster40. No Man’s Sky shortly appeared on the most recent PlayStation Store Update, claiming pre-orders would be available starting March 3. The listing also mentioned that No Man’s Sky will retail for $59.99, at least on the PS4 anyway.
Sony was quick to fix the error, because the Update page no longer has any mention of No Man’s Sky.
This means we should all go back to the current assumption that No Man’s Sky will be coming out in June. We may hear about a formal release date at the upcoming Game Developer’s Conference, but that’s just speculation. That being said, developer Hello Games is going to have to announce the release date eventually.
Pre-orders will likely begin one or two months before the final release date. This means we should expect to see something over the next month or two.
So what do you think? How do you feel about No Man’s Sky getting a full retail price? Do you just want some concrete information already? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
