Warzone Firefight brings PvE to multiplayer, allowing players to battle together against a slew of enemies determined to bring their shiny Spartans down. 343 Industries has offered few details so far, only promising to reveal more information later.
As for this content update, titled Hammer Storm, some highlights include:
New game modes : Grifball, Assault and Fiesta. Grifball is a sportsy, hammer-meets-sword mode, Assault has been fully updated for Halo 5: Guardians , and Fiesta is as light-hearted as weapon roulette can get.
New map, Torque: Torque is a big symmetrical map catering to the Capture the Flag and Assault game modes, with plenty of points for cover, traversal, and objective movement.
New weapons: These include the Gravity Hammer for all your Hulk Smash needs, and the Halo: CE Pistol for classic one-hand shots, including the classic headshot animation.
New REQ items: Included in the update are attachments for loadout weapons, weapon skins, armors, emblems, assassinations, visors and stances.
New possibilities with Forge: Assault and Grifball’s new “ball” mechanic lets you play in whole new ways in Forge mode and allows the return of faves like Oddball and Ricochet.
