Skype has rolled out its own brand of video emoji called Moji for adding fun and flair to your chats.
In this modern age it seems few of us are equipped to hold a digital conversation without the use of emoji to help us convey our inner feelings. Now, Skype has decided to introduce its own particular brand of video emoji they dub “Moji.”
Mojis are short video clip emoji from favorite movies and meme worthy characters that serve as a kind of emoji for use in your chats. According to Skype, they made the video emoji offering for those moments when, “ life feels like it’s straight out of a movie and mere words just don’t do it justice … Mojis are short clips from your favorite movies and TV shows that you can put directly into a Skype chat when words aren’t enough to capture for that ‘ah-hah,’ ‘haha,’ or ‘yikes’ moment.”
The new Mojis can be easily accessed from the smiley face menu at the bottom right hand corner of your chat screen, in the same place where the traditional emojis are stored on Skype.
The collection definitely includes some humorous clips that are sure to be fun to use, including excerpts from favorites like the Muppets, Despicable Me, Jurassic Park and more.
While the Mojo clip offerings are limited to just a few movies now, Skype says they have plans to extend the Moji video emoji offerings in time.
