We’ve seen a lot of vague teaser trailers for Better Call Saul Season 2. But while they were long on atmosphere, the teasers we’ve seen so far have been short on actual footage from the premiere of the new Better Call Saul season. That all changes now, with the premiere of the first proper Better Call Saul Season trailer.

About time.

Better Call Saul Season 2 Trailer

Already we’re seeing a much lighter tone than Better Call Saul Season 1. The clarity of committing to selfishness and crime looks to have put some extra pep in that Goodman step. Now it’s only a matter of learning how it all gets burned down.

This first trailer for Better Call Saul Season 2 gives us a lot of peeks at what’s in store once Season 2 premieres. For now Saul is still stuck working out of the back of a nail salon, but deals with Mike, Nacho, and a gig involving one tricked out Hummer would suggest that Saul’s salad days are still ahead of him.

One notable absence in this first Better Call Saul Season 2 trailer is any sight of Chuck McGill, Saul’s troubled brother with whom he had a falling out at the end of Better Call Saul Season 1. Still, it’s a safe bet that Chuck will still be in the mix. In fact, he may even emerge as an unexpected antagonist in the new season of Better Call Saul.

We’ll find out for sure when Better Call Saul Season 2 premieres at 10 p.m. on Feb. 15.
