Nintendo announced that almost 20 new titles and nearly 30 different amiibos will be released in the remainder of this year for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Obviously, the amiibo that struck out the most is the highly anticipated Mega Yarn Yoshi, which will finally arrive in the U.S. on Nov. 15. Meanwhile, the Mega Yarn Yoshi release date in Europe is Nov. 27. Start saving now, because the Mega Yarn Yoshi is priced at $39.99, or the price of three standard amiibos. Yikes!
The Mega Yarn Yoshi is a part of the well received Yoshi's Woolly World title for the Wii U. The insanely cute game has been out in Europe and Japan earlier this summer, but the Yoshi's Wooly World U.S. release date won't be until Oct. 16. That said, good things come to those who wait. Yoshi's Woolly World will be priced at $49.99. What's more, a special bundle that will include one standard green Yarn Yoshi amiibo will be available at launch for $59.99. Waahoo!
All Yarn Yoshi amiibos will launch on the same date as the Yoshi’s Woolly World game. However, the green Yarn Yoshi will be exclusive to the bundle, while a blue Yoshi and pink Yoshi are available separately.
