Warner Bros Studios gave fans a sneak peek of what’s to come in the Justice League movie at the end of Suicide Squad . If you stick around after the colorful credits, you’ll see Amanda Waller and Bruce Wayne have a sit down dinner.
Waller is desperate for protection. She knows creating Task Force X was a desperate move on her part, but believes leverage is the best thing she can get to protect herself. Enter The Batman. Waller asks Batman for his protection, in return she will give him top secret files of the metahuman humans in the U.S. Government’s database.
We see three metahumans in the file: Enchantress, Aquaman, and The Flash. As we know from the end of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice , Batman is set on gathering other metahumans to help defend the world from evil forces, which will eventually become the Justice League.
Right now, it’s just Batman and Wonder Woman trying to find the metahumans. Batman now knows the U.S. Government is also interested in metahumans as well, which means Waller is an important ally when the time comes. However, Batman doesn’t trust Waller and she doesn’t trust him either. Waller believes you have to manipulate people into doing what you want instead of trusting them to do the right thing. Batman believes the opposite.
Still, this means we could see Waller in the upcoming Justice League movie. She’s an important part of the DC universe and one of the best parts of the Suicide Squad movie. Check out Suicide Squad out in theaters Aug. 5.
