Who's crazy enough to let a bunch of the psychotic supervillains out of their max security prisons? And who's fearsome and nasty enough to make the lunatics work for her? Meet cutthroat government agent Amanda Waller, the puppet master of the Suicide Squad.
The latest Suicide Squad trailer offers us a glimpse of Waller, played by Viola Davis, and Squad leader Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman). Flag isn't a fan of Waller, and doesn't buy her far-fetched belief that the likes of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Killer Croc and El Diablo can ever be tamed.
"What are you really up to," asks Flag. "You need real soldiers, not these scumbags!"
But Flag will learn that it's better to not test Waller.
"Getting people to act against their own self-interest is what i do for a living," said Waller.
"I'll accept the consequences," Flag challenged.
"I am your consequence," warned the strictly-business government agent.
"They warned me about you. I didn't believe the stories."
"Nobody does."
