It’s that time of the year again but this time, we’re celebrating the ninth anniversary of Summoners War: Sky Arena, the flagship title of the Summoners War franchise. In this celebration, there are in-game events and anniversary-exclusive rewards.
Since its release, the Summoners War franchise has been downloaded more than 190 million times and became a beloved cross-media property around the world. There have been a lot of spin-off titles like Summoners War: Lost Centuria and Summoners War: Chronicles. Players are also treated to different collaborations with entertainment icons like Cookie Run: Kingdom and even Assassin’s Creed.
For this year, the Summoners War franchise is expected to go beyond gaming with the upcoming release of its second comic series titled Summoners War: Awakening, created in collaboration with Skybound and set to debut this April 19. Meanwhile, the Summoners War: Tour of America is coming to Los Angeles on April 22, an event which features casual and competitive meet-ups for fans.

In a statement, Com2uS USA President Kyu Less revealed that this game holds a special place in their hearts since it was the title that started the whole franchise. He went on to say that they’re thankful for all the support they’ve received in the last nine years and are looking forward to delivering more unforgettable adventures.
Summoners War: Sky Arena is a turn-based strategy MMO game released in 2014 on Android and iOS. In the game, players take on the role of summoners and open scrolls to acquire monsters to fight in turn-based battles. It offers endless fun by having players decorate their village, fight with other summoners, explore dungeons, train monsters, and expand their collection.
