Sun Haven is a 2D farming simulator with RPG elements where you play as a farmer who can do many things. Not only can you develop and care for your own farm, but you also have the ability to fish, mine, smith, cook, craft, and fight enemies. You can spend time in the cozy town of Sun Haven or visit the beautiful Elven Village of Nel’Vari and the Urban Monster City Withergate, each offering something unique. This game features a romance mechanic as well, letting you date some townsfolk and develop feelings for them.
That said, Pixel Sprout Studios released a pretty huge update for Sun Haven that included romance mechanic changes. For one, romance progress is now based on heart levels, meaning that it’s no longer tied to dialogue progression. Furthermore, before 8 a.m. and after 8 p.m., you can now knock on doors to turn in quests or ask characters to go on a date with you. Speaking of dating, you can initiate a date with a romanceable character after reaching 10 hearts and pressing the new heart button.
Patch 0.8 also added new regional crafting tables to Nel’Vari and Withergate. If you’ve updated the game and you’re continuing from an old save, you can buy the new crafting tables from the Nel’Vari or Withergate general store. If you start a new game in Sun Haven, the new crafting tables will be immediately available to you.
Between the three towns, there are 21 brand-new crafting tables that you can use. The ones found in Nel’Vari and Withergate require resources found in their respective regions. To help you with that, new maps have been added where you can get crafting materials, including Dead Logs, Dead Stones, Elven Logs, and Elven Stones.

- You can now reset your relationship with a character by gifting them a Memory Loss Potion (Purchasable in Town Hall)
- New players will now have Hard Deadwood, Heavy Deadstone, Hard Elven Wood, and Heavy Elvenstone spawn on their farm
- Updated Withergate and Nel’Vari farm to now spawn and drop Dead Logs, Dead Stone, Elven Logs, and Elven Stone.
