Super Mario Run has a rather short (albeit addicting) campaign mode with some extra perks for those who want to be completionists and find all of the special coins hidden within each level.
But if you’re longing for even more content from Super Mario Run, you’re pretty much forced to use the other modes within Nintendo’s first mobile game to unlock three hidden levels.
There are three hidden/secret levels within Super Mario Run and they have to do with the special coins that you find in the main campaign courses. At first, you’ll see five pink coins scattered in each course. These coins are tougher to obtain than the normal coins but they are very rewarding.
If you collect all of the pink coins in each level of the campaign you can head over to the Kingdom Builder mode to purchase a Pink Pipe that will unlock a secret level in Super Mario Run.
The same is the case for the purple and black coins that appear after you collect every pink coin in a level. Of course, the purple and black coins in Super Mario Run are more difficult to get than the pink coins but they offer up a unique challenge for those looking to get the most out of their $10 mobile game.
