The Expanse finally reached a breaking point last episode. With The Rocinante and Detective Miller both on their way to Eros, there could finally be some action in this week’s episode titled “Salvage.” SyFy has released a sneak peek that shows Jim Holden and Detective Miller will indeed meet. The clip also reveals the Rocinante will encounter a mysterious stealth ship as they approach an abandoned asteroid.
In the first 18-second promo, gunshots are flying everywhere as Detective Miller searches for Julia Mao. It’s unclear how exactly Miller will work with the Rocinante crew but the clip shows him meeting Holden face to face. “Who are you,” Holden asks Miller amidst heavy background fire.
In SyFy’s official weekly sneak peek, the Rocinante is seen flying close to a barren asteroid on the belt. “No life pod. No emergency habitat. No Nothing,” Rocinante pilot Alex Kamal points out.
“These are the coordinates we were given,” Naomi adds. It’s unclear if the asteroid in the preview is where Fred Johnson told the crew to investigate.
As the Rocinante flies by carefully exploring the asteroid, Naomi spots something inside a deep crevice. The dark shadow appears to be stealth ship similar to the warships that destroyed the Donnager and the Canterbury.
