The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is confirmed to arrive sometime in 2022. It’s going to be released on PC and the Nintendo Switch.
The game is inspired by the iconic 1987 design of these pizza-loving heroes. It managed to bring these heroes to life in beautiful pixel art that’s sure to remind old school players of the arcade version. Players can look forward to experiencing the rivalry of the heroes with Bebop and Rocksteady. Prepare as well to go back to signature areas like Dimension X. There’s also Manhattan, Coney Island, and even the sewers.
A New Fighter Joins
Developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu also revealed in a statement that none other than April O’Neil is joining the heroes in a half shell as a playable fighter.
Wearing her iconic yellow jumpsuit and reporting gear, she can unleash a flurry of attacks against enemies. Her slide kicks, for example, allow her to get close to targets quicker.
