You’ll be able to buy your Justin Bieber tickets right from Facebook starting in a few weeks. Ticketmaster is partnering with Facebook to make ticket purchasing a seamless experience. In an attempt to make finding tickets more mobile-friendly, Ticketmaster will integrate buying options into Facebook Event pages.

“By putting the ability to buy tickets directly within Facebook we hope that we’re going to provide a more seamless purchase experience and sell more tickets,” Dan Armstrong, VP and GM of distributed commerce at Ticketmaster, told BuzzFeed.

Popular mobile apps, like Facebook, are becoming the best way for businesses to communicate with consumers. Users often spend more time in apps while using their smartphone than on websites such as Ticketmaster.

Facebook has already been toying with ways to incorporate business into its platform. Facebook has been experimenting with transforming ‘pages’ into online shops, and now you can even order an Uber from Facebook Messenger. Facebook Messenger’s virtual assistant, M, can already complete tasks like buying tickets. Ticketmaster’s new partnership will supplement M’s existing features.

The price of purchasing a ticket on Facebook will be the same as the price listed on Ticketmaster.com. The affiliate fee that Facebook collects will be from Ticketmaster for using the Facebook platform, not from users," a Facebook spokesperson clarified. Ticketmaster-Facebook purchases will only be available for a select group of users and general admissions events at first, but will roll out more access in the coming weeks.
