Is Tinder down or not working for you? Are you having problems logging in? Maybe you've got issues seeing new people or sending messages after you installed the new Tinder update? If you’re having an of these problems or issues, we've got a couple of solutions that may fix Tinder not working.
First off, you’re not alone: Tinder is down for a lot of people after the new update, actually. The problems with Tinder started last night as users who downloaded or upgraded the hook-up app to get the new Instagram and Facebook integration found that the app was having major problems and even crashing. Though Tinder submitted a solution for the problem on Twitter late last night, many users have reported the fix not working so well and the problems have continued into today.
How To Fix Tinder Not Working, Problems With Seeing New Profiles, Sending Messages And Logging In.
So at this point there's really only two solutions to the Tinder problem. Here's a couple of things you can try to do to fix it.
Tinder Fix #1 -- Take Tinder’s Official Advice
On Tinder’s official Twitter, they briefly advise the user to uninstall and reinstall the application:
In addition to that, though, we'd recommend you completely shut your phone down and restart it after you've reinstalled. Sometimes a restart will actually get the thing working properly when you've reinstalled an app.
The unfortunate thing is, this solution isn't perfect and a lot of lonely hearts out there still are reporting issues with Tinder. Sometimes this reinstall fix only works for one session, but then the app is broken when users return to start a new session. People have reported reinstalling Tinder multiple times only to have it break at the end of each session. Some users can’t even log in, though they still receive Tinder notifications.
Frustrated users have turned to Tinder to express their Tinder issues and try to seek solutions:
The website Down Detector, a site that tracks outages on other web sites, has a handy map that indicates the scale of the outage for Tinder users:
Yikes! Reported problems are as varied as authentication issues, problems sending messages, problems receiving messages, problems even seeing messages, and server connection issues. So if Tinder is down for you, you’re not alone.
