EA has announced the official release date for Titanfall 2. For the first time ever, the franchise is coming to Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 users on Oct. 28. You can pre-order the title of EA’s official site here.
You can also get in on the gameplay action sooner. EA will have an open technical test for Titanfall 2 to prior to the game’s launch. Fans will have to sign up for the Titanfall 2 Newsletter here for more news about the technical test, as well as exclusive information about the upcoming title.
"With the original Titanfall, we focused on nailing the gameplay and reinventing the way you move and fight in a first person shooter," said Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn Entertainment and a co-creator of the Call of Duty franchise. "With Titanfall 2, we're building on that foundation by introducing a bespoke single player campaign backed by a deeper multiplayer experience that together will once again push the shooter genre forward."
Unfortunately, EA didn’t confirm the alleged Titanfall 2 Collector’s Edition that leaked prior to the studio’s E3 conference. The rumored collector’s edition included a copy of Titanfall 2, a light-up statue of the bust of a pilot, an aluminum cased journal, a scarf and more.
