AMC announced The Walking Dead Season 6 finale will be a 90-minute special. While that likely means an actual 60 minutes of content factoring in commercials, we're pumped to finally meet Negan and his bat Lucille.

The Walking Dead's 90-minute finale airs on April 3 with Norman Reedus visiting The Talking Dead right after to dicuss the events of the episode. Fans can look forward to an especially brutal finale this year. Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, recently told Entertainment Weekly it took her a "long time" to get over what happened in The Walking Dead Season 6 finale.

“[Hearing] the word ‘finale’ gives me a physical reaction because it’s the hardest day on set that I’ve ever had in my life,” Cohan told Entertainment Weekly. “I never even imagined that as an actor you could have that experience. It’s one of the most raw experiences that I think any of us have ever had. Andy talks about being late to work; I didn’t want to go to work that day. It took a really, really long time for everybody to feel okay again after the finale, let’s put it that way.”

There's only one episode left before The Walking Dead Season 6 finale. Catch up on the rest of The Walking Dead Season 6 on AMC's official site here.
