Sounds like Ezekiel. In the comics, Ezekiel is an older African American with grey dreads. He’s a neutral party in the war against the Saviors. Ezekiel’s personality is a bit over-the-top and his pet tiger Shiva follows him everywhere he goes. Ezekiel doesn’t like Negan, but hides his disdain for the leader of the Saviors very well. He’s very protective of The Kingdom and hesitant to join the war against the saviors.

Carol and Morgan may have had the first run-in with The Kingdom at the end of The Walking Dead Season 6. Morgan found Carol just before a Savior was about to kill her. Carol is shot in the leg and wants Morgan to end her life. He refuses. Soon two men wearing padded armor appear and Morgan asks them for help.

It’s likely Carol will camp out at The Kingdom until she heals, and Morgan will likely stay with her. Who knows? Carol doesn’t seem to feel comfortable with Alexandria anymore, and The Kingdom might be a place she can get some much needed rest.

The Walking Dead Season 7 returns to AMC this fall.
