Warhammer 40,000: Darktide releases for PC on November 30 and Xbox Series X|S on an unspecified date. Developer Fatshark revealed what kind of hardware you will need to enjoy the game, and judging the requirements, Darktide is likely incredibly taxing on your PC. I think these requirements are the highest I have ever seen for a video game.
To run the game at 1080p 30 to 45 FPS with low settings, the game requires either an Intel i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600. You should have a GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 570 as GPU, 8 GB of RAM, and 50 GB of free storage space. This set supports AMD FSR.
Things change drastically if you want better frame rate and visuals. For 1080p 60 FPS with medium settings, you will require an Intel i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600. GPU requirements skyrocket to either a GeForce RTX 3060 or Radeon RX 6800 XT, backed up by 16 GB of RAM and an SSD. This one supports both DLSS and FSR.
The above two sets of requirements are not recommended with ray tracing on. You need a more powerful rig, like something that includes specs mentioned below.
