Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Patch 4 Finally Enables Saving of Loadouts via Wargear Sets

Developer Fatshark has been busy at work and has launched Patch 4 for its popular co-op shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, now available on all platforms. This major update introduced some neat new features, including the ability for players to save their customized loadouts via Wargear Sets.

Basically, players can save up to five different Wargear Sets so they can easily swap between their weapons, Curios, cosmetics, and chosen talents with ease. Wargear sets can be found at the top-right corner of the character screen.

Aside from that, players who are looking for a specific weapon can now head to Brunt’s Armory section in the Armory Exchange. Take note that Brunt’s Armory offers the most common weapons only (Profane sanctity). Moreover, the weapons the player gets are affected by RNG, so they might have to purchase a lot of a specific weapon if they want to get the best stats possible.

Players who felt that the weekly contracts at Sire Melk’s Requisitorium are just too grindy will be happy to know that they have been rebalanced, thus making them less grueling to complete than before. Here’s a rundown of the updated contracts, as well as new contracts that Sire Melk’s is offering in Patch 4:

• Collect Diamantine
  • Targets: 100/200/350 for a reward of 160/370/700 Ordo Ingots.
• Collect Plasteel
  • Targets: 250/400/750 for a reward of 160/280/600 Ordo Ingots.
• Collect Scriptures or Grimoires
  • Targets: 4/8/16 for an updated reward of 150/335/700 Ordo Ingots.

• Kill Monstrosities
  • New targets: 2/4/7 for an updated reward of 160/370/700 Ordo Ingots.
• Complete Missions
  • New targets: 5/8/12 for an updated reward of 120/310/590 Ordo Ingots.
• Complete Missions with no player deaths
  • New targets: 1/3/6 for an updated reward of 120/280/580 Ordo Ingots.
• Kill Dregs with Melee
  • Targets: 500/750/1000 for an updated reward of 100/230/530 Ordo Ingots.
• Kill Dregs with Ranged
  • Targets: 500/750/1000 for an updated reward of 100/230/530 Ordo Ingots.
• Kill Scabs with Melee
  • Targets: 500/750/1000 for an updated reward of 100/230/530 Ordo Ingots.
• Kill Scabs with Ranged
  • Targets: 500/750/1000 for an updated reward of 100/230/530 Ordo Ingots.
