Vixen will make her debut in Season 4 episode 15 of Arrow, “Taken.” The star of her own CW web series of the same name, Vixen hails from Africa and uses a family relic to tap into the animal spirit world for powers. As a member of DC Comics Justice League, Vixen was eventually able to take on the powers and abilities of those around her. In the comics, she can even drain powers from other superheros, but she will likely just use her animal-shifting prowess in the TV series.
In the trailer above, team Arrow realizes they need a different strategy to take down Damien Darhk. Oliver pays Vixen a visit and recruits her to help him defeat Darhk, who now has his 10-year-old son William in captivity.
The clip also reveals that Oliver will man up and tell Felicity about William (not that he has much of a choice in the matter). At the end of last episode, Curtis gifts Felicity with a microchip that will help her to walk again. A leaked photo shows Oliver and Felicity at their wedding ceremony. Felicity is on her feet. Oliver realizes he needs help battling Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) so he calls in an old friend – Vixen (guest star Megalyn E.K.). Using her magical ability to summon animal powers, Vixen gets a lock on Darhk’s location and the team goes to war. Meanwhile, Thea has a heart-to-heart talk with Malcolm.
Can Vixen and Oliver defeat Darhk and rescue William? Will Felicity actually walk again? Find out in tonight’s episode of Arrow at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
