It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!

There won’t be many more Xur trips for most Destiny fans, now that we’re near the end of post-launch support for Bungie’s shared-world shooter. Last Friday, the studio announced the Age of Triumph; a final in-game event that kicks off later this month. And Bungie gave Destiny players their first look at that event just a few days ago, via the first of three planned Age of Triumph live streams. Now we just have to wonder if there will be any big surprises in the Agent of the Nine’s inventory before Destiny fans put down the game to wait for its sequel.
Last week, Xur continued a recent string of disappointing visits with many of the same offerings we’ve seen countless times over the last two and a half years. Few who still play Destiny with any regularity are still looking for items like ATS/8 Tarantella or the Voidfang Vestments. But if there was ever a time for the Agent of the Nine to get his act together, we figure now would probably be the time. Many players will be too busy exploring the refreshed raid lineup to farm Strange Coins during the Age of Triumph. So let’s hope Xur decides to bring something useful while his weekly visits are still grabbing a few Destiny players’ attention.

As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks! And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with blue and green contrails available this week, along with Motes of Light, Heavy Ammo Synthesis (in stacks of three and 10) and Glass Needles.
Destiny: Rise Of Iron is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One.
