Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine in X-Men: Apocalypse according to the latest rumor report from Heroic Hollywood . The site claims Jackman quietly shot his X-Men: Apocalypse scenes during reshoots. Jackman allegedly wasn’t supposed to be in the film, but director Bryan Singer supposedly “figured out” a way to write him in at the last minute.
Heroic Hollywood reports the new trailer will debut April 14 during 20th Century Fox’s presentation at Cinemacon. Chairman and CEO Jim Gianopulos, along with Co-Chairman Stacey Snider, will reveal the rumored new trailer during the convention.
We’re curious if X-Men: Apocalypse will bring Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) and Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) together with Wolverine in a scene, knowing the intense history behind the characters. Jean Grey’s death in the original timeline, prior to the events of X-Men: Days of Future Past, was a huge part in Wolverine’s story. Maybe he’ll be around to help Jean and Scott when it’s time to fight, that is, if the rumors are true.
Still, a Wolverine cameo would be great for the movie. Jackman has one more Wolverine movie left in his contract, so fans might flock to theaters to see him. X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27. Check out the latest trailer for the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer below.
