World of Warcraft Classic announced that the Darkmoon Faire has arrived to the game. The set up started last February 7 in Mulgore, with barkers starting to appear at both Ironforge and Orgrimmar in order to share the news. The actual festivities started in Mulgore on February 10 and end on February 16. It then shuts down and comes back to the Elwynn Forest on March 9 to March 15.

Now that the Darkmoon Faire is here, completing quests rewards players with Darkmoon Prize Tickets. For those who don't have the time for quests, tickets can be earned by offering trade goods to Chronos, Kerri Hicks, Rinling, or Yebb Neblegear. To redeem tickets for the different prizes, players need to speak to Gelvas Grimegate. Players can even trade Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets toward reputation.

The arrival of the Darkmoon Faire also means that Darkmoon Cards can now be collected across Azeroth. Players that complete a deck can go to Professor Thaddeus Paleo to exchange them for an epic-quality Trinket. These are the decks and the corresponding Trinket rewards:

  • Beasts Deck - Darkmoon Card
    • Trinket: Blue Dragon
  • Elementals Deck - Darkmoon Card
    • Trinket: Maelstrom
  • Portals Deck - Darkmoon Card
    • Trinket: Twisting Nether
  • Warlords Deck - Darkmoon Card
    • Trinket: Heroism

In Azeroth, life is sure to be full of wonder and mystery. In particular, no two stories are the same. Those who want to know more about their future need to visit Sayge, Azeroth's well-known fortune teller. Players need to answer two qestions and get buffs based on their responses.

It won't be an event without Fun Faire Activities. The first is The Humanoid Cannonball where the Blastenheimer 5000 Ultra Cannon launches Fairegoers through the air towards a target placed in the waters south of the fairground. Then there is the Tank Battle Simulator which tests the commander skills of players by using their Darkmoon Tonk to destroy Tonk Targets.

The Darkmoon Faire is already in World of Warcraft and you can read more about it here.
