2K published a new trailer for WWE 2K17 this week, spotlighting the reworked MyCareer mode that will debut in the publisher’s latest wrestling game. Additional details on the offering, which once again give players the chance to become A Paul Heyman Guy, were also released via a new blog post on the official WWE 2K17 website.

We already knew MyCareer mode would play a bigger role this year than it has in recent WWE 2K releases, thanks to the decision to remove 2K Showcase — the single-player mode used to highlight famous WWE performers and storylines — out of WWE 2K17 . But now we have a clearer idea of how things will differ from years past. And those who’ve been keeping an eye on WWE programming in recent months probably won’t be shocked to hear Paul Heyman was tapped for this year’s narrative mode. But getting the chance to form an alliance with former UFC/WWE champion Brock Lesnar might come as a surprise.

Earning the approval of one of the greatest managers in WWE history won’t be your only goal in MyCareer mode. Obviously, there will be plenty of championship gold to chase, especially now that there are separate belts for the Raw and Smackdown rosters. You can even be a two-title champion if you work hard enough. And yes, the brand split will be in WWE 2K17 . The game’s new Promo Engine will give players more control over how (and when) their favorite WWE Superstar calls out his or her rivals. You can even negotiate for a better share of the merchandise royalties for your grappler. Paid out in VC, of course.
