WWE 2K17 is finally making the jump to Steam, adding PC to the list of current and last-gen platforms on which the game is available, and bringing all of the post-launch content from the WWE 2K17 season pass along with it. Here’s what we know about the upcoming port.
According to 2K, a variety of new SKUs will be added to Steam when WWE 2K17 makes the jump to PC next month. Those interested only in the base game can purchase it, for the slightly reduced price of $49.99, while those interested in all of the game’s DLC can instead purchase WWE 2K17 Deluxe Edition ($74.99) to receive the game and all of its post-launch content for a slightly reduced price (with an extra 15% discount offered to preorder customers). The WWE 2K17 Season Pass ($29.99) will also be available on Steam and players can even choose to purchase individual content packs if they’re not interested in the full line-up.
It also sounds like 2K hasn’t necessarily closed the door on additional WWE 2K17 c o n t e n t. Near the bottom of the announcement, 2K confirms that all currently announced content for WWE 2K17 will be available when the game hits Steam next month. But, without explanation, 2K also says “any future DLC released after the February 7 PC launch will be available on PC at a later time.” It’s possible that’s just an unnecessarily long way of saying the unrelease Hall of Fame Showcase DLC might not hit PC and consoles the same day. But we’ve reached out to 2K, asking for clarification on the matter, just to be sure.
WWE 2K17 is currently available on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game makes its PC debut on Feb. 7.
