Expect a new X-Men:Apocalypse trailer this Thursday, according to 20th Century Fox’s Twitter account.
The last footage we’ve seenof X-Men: Apocalypse came as a 30-second Super Bowl commercial with some repeat footage of the trailer released in December.
Worshiped as a god since the dawn of civilization, the immortal Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) becomes the first and most powerful mutant. Awakening after thousands of years, he recruits the disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and other mutants to create a new world order. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Professor X (James McAvoy) and Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) lead a team of young X-Men to stop their seemingly invincible nemesis from destroying mankind.
Hailing from Ancient Egypt, Apocalypse, known as ‘The First One,’ is so powerful that he may as well be invincible. His abilities include telekinesis, flight, super strength, teleportation, shapeshifting and metal morphing. He’s also a master of alien technology. After a thousand-year nap, Apocalypse rises again to decimate the world and create his own race of mutants. He has enlisted four horseman to aid him on his conquest: Storm, Psylocke, Angel, and Magneto.
Professor X, Mystique, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Jean Gray, Beast, Moira, Jubilee and Havok will have to go up against the almighty Apocalypse. Quicksilver will try to save the world and his father (Magneto) before it's too late.
X-Men:Apocalypse hits theaters May 27.
