Xbox Game Pass is adding new games to the service which will all be available to play starting Aug. 1. These seven new titles will join over 100 already included in Xbox Game Pass, with even more planned for the future.
For those that don’t know, Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service exclusive to the Xbox One. For $9.99 a month, players can download and play as many games included in the service for as long as he or she would like. While most are Xbox One games, there are also a large number of Xbox 360 games included, all backward compatible with the Xbox One.
So what’s new for August? Some big names including Dead Rising 3 and DiRT Rally. Also getting added on Aug. 1 is Limbo, Ultratron, So Many Me, Metal Slug XX and Pharaonic. This is a nice mix of games, including action, racing, puzzle/platforming and other genres. Also, there’s Metal Slug, which, come on. Metal Slug is awesome.
If you want a full list of the 100+ games included in the Xbox Game Pass service, check out the Xbox website here. Make sure you scroll to the bottom and click “All (A-Z)” to see a full list. Highlights include the BioShock series, the Gears of War series (excluding Gears of War 4), Mad Max, WWE 2K16, and Halo 5: Guardians.
The selection of Xbox Game Pass games is only going to increase as time goes on. Microsoft has mentioned that every month, more games will be included in the service. If this month is any indication, those games will include big AAA options as well as smaller indie games and retro remasters.
