'XCOM 2' Release Time: When Can You Play Firaxis' Anticipated Sequel?

The XCOM 2 release times have, fortunately, been confirmed by Firaxis and 2K ahead of the Feb. 5 release date. Pre-loading for XCOM 2 is now live , but when does XCOM 2 actually unlock for players? At what time can you actually start playing XCOM 2 and rebuffing the advent of ADVENT? Read on to find out when XCOM 2 unlocks in your region.

Zone 1

South and South East Asia and Oceania

Unlock Time: 5:01am AEDT (6:01pm GMT on the 4th)

Zone 2

Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, all of Russia (European and Asian), Iceland and Greenland

Unlock Time: 12:01am CET (11:01pm GMT on the 4th)

Zone 3

The Americas

Unlock Time: 12:01am EST (5:01am GMT)

Along with any pre-orders and pre-purchases of XCOM 2 or the XCOM 2 Digital Deluxe Edition, players will receive the Resistance Warrior Pack. The Resistance Warrior Pack offers bonus outfits, custom facial war paint and headgear to help customize your soldiers. It also includes a new XCOM recruit called “Survivor of the Old War” who will appear in the barracks of the Avenger.

Make sure your PC can run XCOM 2 . Here’s the minimum recommended specs:

Graphics: 2GB ATI Radeon HD 7970, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 or better
Storage: 45 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card
