After almost a decade, we're finally getting the sequel to Age of Wonders III. Paradox Interactive announced that Age of Wonders 4 from Triumph Studios is coming out May 2 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. In this latest addition, players can look forward to new levels of customization and replayability.
Age of Wonders 4 combines strategy, role-playing, and turn-based combat, and lets players rule a fantasy realm of their own making. In the game, the powerful Wizard Kings have returned to the realms to rule as gods among mortals. Now, players need to challenge their rule but must use Tomes of Magic to release arcane destruction and evolve their armies to gain new abilities and forms.

In a statement, Triumph Studios Co-founder and Age of Wonders 4 Director Lennart Sas shared that for 25 years, the studio has been looking at new places where they can make their original fantasy strategy series.
