Nintendo and Game Freak may have already unveiled "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" to the world, but this does not stop so-called leaks from sharing claims regarding what the game will bring.
While the world waits for "Pokémon Legends: Z-A," a new leak has surfaced with claims about what the game will supposedly feature, including a returning feature from its predecessor.
The last "Legends" game from the franchise, "Pokémon Legends: Arceus," gave fans huge face-offs with featured bosses in the story's progression, and it seems this will make its return.
'Pokémon Legends: Z-A' Leak: Alpha Pokémon Return
One of the most beloved experiences on "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" is its Alpha Pokémon appearances where players have to face a specific boss to progress in the story and continue their exploration of the Hisui region.
According to Centro Leaks, a known source for information on "Pokémon" games, a similar Alpha Pokémon experience would also arrive in "Pokémon Legends: Z-A."
However, it remains unknown how this will pan out in Lumiose City, especially as the upcoming game will only focus on the city and will not have players venturing into the vast area. "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" has a unique aspect of being constrained inside the city, with different areas allowing players to catch Pokémon.
The leak does not elaborate on how the Alpha Pokémon would play out their role in "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" apart from them being included.
Moreover, Centro Leaks did not reveal which Pokémon would have Alpha versions of themselves, with "Arceus" known for setting them up as special bosses in each region with only the human character fighting against them and not having their Pokémon fight their battles for them.
Mega Evolutions Twist in 'Pokémon Legends: Z-A'?
In relation to this Alpha Pokémon arrival, "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" also reportedly has a twist on the Mega Evolutions appearing in the game. According to Centro Leaks (via ComicBook Gaming), part of the game's mission is to have players battling against "Rogue Mega Pokémon."
Like the information on Alpha Pokémon, it was not revealed what exactly would the Rogue Mega Pokemon bring to the table, how the fight would turn out, and who are the Pokémon to be faced by players.
Per the leak, it suggests that these Alpha Rogue Mega Pokémon would also serve as bosses in their own right, with players needing to get past them to progress further into the story in Lumiose.
