Five years after it initially released on PC and consoles, Alien: Isolation finally becomes a Nintendo Switch game in December 2020. Alien: Isolation received pretty good reviews after its launch, and the game does an incredible job in combining horror and stealth elements. With its arrival on the Nintendo Switch, you will be able to scare yourself anywhere you want.
Alien: Isolation is set in a retro-futuristic setting where the elements of horror and stealth play out exceptionally well. It is also reported that Creative Assembly received over three terabytes of materials from Fox that were pulled from the original Alien movie.
In the game, you step into the shoes of Amanda Ripley, who is headed to a remote space station to retrieve a lost flight recorder from her mother’s ship. When you arrive at this space station, you realize that there is an alien on board and you have to outsmart the creature to survive. You aren’t going to be fighting the enemy by pulling out guns, so your ability to survive depends upon how well you can sneak through levels while being surrounded by the anxiety-inducing environment and sounds.
The Nintendo Switch port for Alien: Isolation also includes both the DLCs - Crew Expendable and Last Survivor. The portable version of the game can be pre-ordered on the Nintendo e-shop for $35.
Alien: Isolation is currently available on PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. If you haven’t played the game yet, we recommend that you give this survival-horror experience a shot.
