The Game Awards 2022 is finally over and it satisfied both Elden Ring and God of War fans, as both games won big at the event.
God of War Ragnarök failed to snatch the GOTY Award, but it won the highest number of awards including awards for Narrative, Score and Music, and Audio Design, taking home six in total. Elden Ring, on the other hand, won Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Role Playing Game.
The indie scene also received some recognition as the cute cat game, Stray, won awards for Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game.
