The festivities are almost here and Animal Crossing: New Horizons is set to release a free update tomorrow, January 28. It’s going to bring a new event along with new reactions. There are also seasonal additions plus some new items for players to buy.
When the update arrives in the game, it will introduce the Festivale event. The event itself is happening on February 15 when Dancer Pavé arrives in your island plaza. Pavé isn’t just bringing in some carnival spirit but even spreading some confetti.
Once the event begins, players need to use their net and collect the colorful feathers floating on their island. These can be traded to Pavé in exchange for a passionate dance number. Some features are considered rare like Rainbow feathers. Players can also invite friends over to their island to take part in the festivities.
The next feature is the New Reactions, which are excellent for expressing excitement during the Festivale. There’s a wide range of new reactions to choose from though they’re not available for free. The Viva Festival Reaction Set can be bought at Nook’s Cranny using in-game Bells. Don’t take too long to decide since this offer is only for a limited time.
Meanwhile, New Clothing becomes available starting February 1 at the Able Sisters shop but for a limited time too. Celebrate the Festivale in style and strut your stuff with these fashionable items.
Finally, check out the Seasonal Items available at either Nook Stop in Resident Services or through Nook Shopping. From February 1 to February 14, look out for some chocolate hearts as well as heart-shaped bouquets. Keep an eye on other items that are related to Big Game Celebration and even Groundhog Day. These will come at certain periods in January and February.
That’s not all as the Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack is set to be released beginning March 26. It’s priced at $5.99 and offered exclusively at Target stores around the U.S. March is also the same month for a new planned update for the game.
