The Flash and Arrow, The CW’s longest-running DC TV shows, have had many official crossovers together, but Barry Allen’s appearance in next week’s episode of Arrow will be the fastest crossover yet. On Thursday, Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim shared a photo on Twitter revealing the crossover scene. While we don’t know the exact circumstances, it seems The Flash will be in and out of Star City in the blink of an eye.
The photo shows an unknown police officer standing in what appears to be a station. Barry’s hand is on the computer screen, sticking what looks to be a post-it note on the officer’s desk. Considering it’s the ‘fastest crossover with The Flash,’ as Guggenheim puts it, we may not even hear Grant Gustin speak a single word. It’s unclear if Felicity called him for help with something, or he’s stopping by Star City on his own terms. Maybe something to do with Diggle’s court case?
Next week’s Arrow episode, “Second Chances,” should tell us how Oliver knows Talia Al Ghul, the woman who trained him and Prometheus. We’ll be meeting her in the flashbacks, and possibly even present day since producers have revealed she plays a large role in taking down Prometheus.
Why do you think The Flash zips into Star City? Let us know in the comments.
