‘Arrow’ Season 5 Villain, Prometheus, Takes Spotlight In 15 Premiere Photos

We’ve known Prometheus would be the villain of Arrow Season 5 for quite some time now, but details about his character and storyline are still a mystery. It’s been revealed he has ties all the way back to Season 1, but why he seeks revenge on Oliver remains to be seen. While we don’t yet know the face behind the mask, now we finally have a good look at the villain’s full costume.

The photos also show Thea suited up as Speedy, confirming she will indeed play more of a role than just Oliver’s new chief of staff. Oliver’s also seen fighting in a suit, so clearly his job as Mayor has put a target on his head. Luckily he has a new bodyguard, coincidentally named Human Target, as a second set of eyes since Diggle has enlisted back in the special forces.

As teased in the recent trailer, a photo shows Oliver held captive by Anton Church, Star City’s newest crime boss. Multiple flashback photos show a younger oliver speaking with his old friend and Bratva boss, Anatoly Knyazev.

The photos don’t show Felicity, Dig, Curtis or any of the new members of Team Arrow such as The Vigilante, Wild Dog or Artemis.

Arrow returns Oct. 5 on The CW.
